After running into a couple of tracked up Maverick's this past weekend, I'm not so sure I'm sold. While I'm pretty sure in the deep snow they would be easier on the machine, but down lower on the dry/muddy trails the tracks would be a hindrance. With that being said, I went everywhere the tracks went!! ON STOCK TIRES.... Get you some of that!! Climbed to the TOP of a radio station lookout. (Yakima, Washington area) Got some GREAT PHOTOS and had some GREAT FUN!!!! I will also add, that I had my reservations about the Defender over the Outlander. But now after owning BOTH of them....  I'm sold on my Defender!!! Outlander "FOR SALE"....  😉

We had tracks at my old job on many different side by sides. There weren't any of them that were good in summer conditions. I would only recommend them for winter riding.

Got tracks on mine, here in Ontario Canada can’t really do a whole lot of winter riding with out them unless u have a snow machine, this picture is in mid November we got about 2 feet now and I’ve got no problem breaking trails on my property

Last year was the first time i put the tracks on my defender and it was time consuming, had to make all the adjustments to the anti rotation brackets and do some fine tuning, this year was super quick, just remove tires bolt on track and anti rotation brackets, quick check of the adjustments and go. I’d say 3-4 hours total first time ever, but now I’ve got it down to 1 - 1 1/2 hours tops.
