Speaker mounting locations.

So I have a 22.5 Defender Max Limited.  want to put some 6.5 in the roof or headliner. Do people just screw them to the headliner or is there some sort of pod or mod that needs to be done?

I believe there are plastic mounts that mount to the plastic roof.  There was a thread on here somewhere of someone doing it.  If you google "can am defender speaker mount" you should be able to find something.
