Rear diff

So diff lock turf mode whatever you wanna call it exploded and apparently it's a known problem just wondering what everyone is doing is there upgrades or am I stuck with buying a stock diff and hopefully that one doesn't explode

First time I have seen a post on a problem with the rear diff and I haven't seen any aftermarket updates, did it happen while shifting into the lock position?

No had it locked since I bought the machine don't see the point in unlocking it for what I do mostly trail riding and mudding guess I should have bought an xmr

Was wondering if u found anything out. Mine blew this weekend. I saw that there is a reef mode delete gear. Let me know what u did

From some of the pictures I have seen of the internals, there is a gear just under the turf shift fork with three or four pins. It's these pins that slip out of their pocket and slam into the shift fork for the turf mode when the gears are rotating. I believe if you rebuild (or as a preventative, go in prior to failure) make sure the pins are seated tight and then stake the edge of the hole in the gear, should stop them from working their way out.
