No skid plates under seats

Just bought a 2021 defender hd8 cab and noticed there are no skidplates under the seats do they no come with those or are mine missing?

My 2019 defender 800 xt came with skid plates.... just replaced them with aluminum ones from rival ran about 1000CAN. Preferred to really protect the sides more as I ride alot of rocky trails.

I also have added these to Bear. Problem is.... the aluminum sticks to the snow when it's cold and the snow is up to the belly.

Hmm never thought about that. Wonder if it would be worth removing the a arm guards during the winter at least?

I wouldn't worry about them. Not enough mass to create a stoppage... I'm actually gonna add my poly skids under my aluminum panels.... not at all worried about the weight.... while I'm at it I think ill be adding rigid foam in the frame cavities between the floorboards and the bottom skids... hoping to help with heat and noise...

Make sure the foam is water proof and does not absorb water.  I knew a person that used the self expanding foam inside the unibody frame rails of a Jeep Cherokee because he was trying to decrease vibration and harmonic noise.  The foam got wet, never dried out, and rotted his frame.

Ya I think it should have had at least the plastic skid plates under your seats on a cab model. My 2019 hd10 xt had them. I thought even the base models came with the plastic and the aluminum was the upgrade.
