What's new

New 2024 Kawasaki Ridge

It looks like we are going to have another premium SXS option soon! Kawasaki is finally going to a fully enclosed machine to compete with the Ranger NorthStar and the Defender Cab models.

It looks like the new Kawasaki Ridge is going to have an inline 4-cylinder engine.

What the f- is up with these things? Seriously, if they weren't already basically mini-trucks, they are now. If you need heat/AC and the HP of a small 4-cylinder motor, might be time to look at a small pickup. At what point do we decide its just too much?

we treat them as small trucks in a lot of places in wi.  can tow as much as a ford ranger, much more capable suspension, as much power to weight if not more.  why not use a sxs... the only thing we cant do is legalize them for all roads, which is unfortunate.

cabs and heaters are nice or when it is cold outside.  even for just around the yard, it is still nice to have them for working outside in the winter.  certainly takes the edge off when you are moving snow, ice fishing, wheeling on winter trails, or just going for a joy ride.

I’ve been thinking the same, can’t believe how high some of these new side-by-side prices have gotten. However, there must be a market if manufacturers keep increasing the price and adding more features.

Should be interesting to see what Can-am does on the 2026 models!
