Maverick Turbo Belt on Defender

Anyone ever try running a mav turbo belt on a Defender? Its a 1/2" longer and supposedly lowers rpms at the same speed.

I have not tried the turbo belt but if it is a 1/2" longer my guess it will act more like a worn out belt because it will not engage at the same spot as the stock belt on startup and you may not be able to adjust it tight enough?

I change all the defenders out to turbo x3 belts,  longer life and stronger belt.

i havent had any trouble, it is the same part number for both the x3 and the defender (hd10 at least) make it easy for me to inventory belts per the schematics from BRP.  I have a couple new spares and a couple old for each.  i carry 1 extra on each machine and can swap as needed.  I run OEM belts and keep a WBB on the x3 as it was a decent one for the price as a spare.
