I just purchased a 52" Nilight curved light bar for my Can-Am HD-8XT. I want to to mount it so it does not stick up above the roof (I have a half windshield). I have seen some mounted so the top of the ight bar is about as high as the roof and they had a lift UP front windshield. However I do not know what brackets they used. Anyone on here have this setup or can share info on the brackets I need?

The popular ones were GS Power ones for Jeeps. Most cut the roof corners to allow the bracket to be high enough to clear the windshield and wiper.

I went with a 50" straight lightbar and the GS brackets, but modified the brackets to keep the light below the roof and just back enough that the wiper arm doesn't hit it.

What mods did you have to do to the bracket? I just bought the 50" Rough Country Curved light bar, and have been looking for brackets that will work.

I cut off the end and made a new one that was longer and a slightly different curve
