2023 Can Am Defender Limited HD10
Question #1 - So, I was told that there is insulation on the inside of the belt cover that a guy should remove because it lets the belt run cooler. Is this a thing? All my riding is pretty mild and casual but if I can prolong a part or make it easier on the machine I would entertain it. Thanks in advance for the help.
Question #2 - I have a friend that had his 2022 defender at the dealers having some work done and serviced and the dealer installed a pre-filter inside the big paper filter and said that it should have came that way from factory and didn't know why they don't put those in from factory. I looked inside the filter housing on my 2023 and it will accommodate this said pre-filter. The part number the dealer put on his buggy was a Donaldson Filtration Filter #P782300. I have looked at several places and they are all out of stock. Does anyone have any information on this. Is their actually a part number through BRP? Thanks in advance for your help.
