Heater in XMR

I just got a 2019 XMR. I ordered the full cab and heater from BRP, I’m concerned about the heater being submerged as it’s not uncommon for us to be in water up to the bottom of the steering wheel. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Have you had your heater in the deep water yet? 

I'm dragging my feet on buying a heater because I figured the first mud ride would pretty much take care of any heater that would get submerged.
