Headliner removal 2017 can am defender hd10 cab

What is the best way to take down the headliner in my can am defender I see the clips was wondering if there is anything extra

Not really, the front is held up partially by the black plate, depending on if you need access to the front or the back you may not need to remove all the screws etc.
