Hd9 vs hd10

So is the hd9 just a detuned hd10 or is it a complety different motor.. I see they are the same CC's so it struck my curiosity.. On a side note of course they put a different motor and more hp after I buy a 2021 hd8 dps cab.. O well its a proven setup atleast

I can't find any info at all on the 976 cc rotax being called a hd9 or hd10 and several different horsepower ratings. It's a big secret I guess. I don't understand why nobody knows ?

HD9 has smaller heads and is basically detuned to lower horsepower vs. the HD10. Someone on the Facebook groups had posted a list of all the part numbers that were different.
