HD8 Plowing ability

Thinking im sold on the Max HD8.  My question however is how well can this thing plow? Is the HD10 my only choice for an Illinois winter?

I plow with an HD10, but I’m told the HD8 is just as capable.

Should be no problem, my neighbor uses an older outlander 500 and has no problem providing the snow doesn't get too deep before you start.

I have a 2019 HD8 Cab. I have a plow on mine and have never had trouble pushing snow. I live in South Dakota.

I'll find out soon enough. 2020 Base model HD8 with 72" Moose plow. Vermont winters can be long and brutal.

I have a HD8 DPS with soft doors and a Boss 6ft straight blade plow.  It works great, can push lots and lots of snow!

(I'm in central Wisconsin)

If did it over again however, I would buy the HD10 just because it gives you a good chuck more power(like 30 some).  The HD8 with 50hp is enough but I'm a more power guy and would get HD10.  

So if $$ is a concern you will be fine with the HD8, but if you have the extra $$ go with the HD10.

That's just my 2cents.
