Glass windshield issue

Picked up a flip out glass windshield for my 22 defender from the local can am dealer. The windshield was an easy install overall. Having an issue with the latch. The latch will not close all the way as it’s about 1/2” out of place. Let me know if anyone has ran into this

I'm not sure if you've already tried this, but if you loosen the two torque screws on the sides of the handle you can adjust the handle.  Other than that, I've got nothing.

How much gap do you have between the glass and the dashboard? I would have to think something isn't sitting properly.
