Gearbox Explodes

My 22 Defender Hd10 xmr rear diff gearbox basically exploded and blew holes and cracks in the housing. Anyone else had this problem?

Wow, I've never heard of this problem before! Is your dealer going to be able to cover under warranty?

We have a 2021 with 900hrs and came out to a puddle of fluid under it. Appears to be holes in the housing/case. Taking it to the dealer tomorrow but it is out of warranty so we will see what they say. Any updates on yours?

4k!!!!! Got the quote today.. includes Diff plus gears that were damaged.

I tried buying a rebuilt box for 2 grand. It came damaged. Waited 6 months for my money back. Then purchased a Spartan series gearbox with turf mode delete and reverse chain replaced with gears. So far it has been great!

That sucks about the rebuilt gearbox. Thankfully, you did end up getting your money back. It sounds like your new setup should be pretty much bulletproof!
