Fuel tank issue

I have a Can-Am HD8 and was filling the gas tank from my garage gas can when the gas can’s spout tip slid into the Can-Am gas tank. What is the best way to retrieve and extract it?

Just open up the tank from the fuel pump access point . Tilt the bed and look down at the fuel tank the opening just unscrews like a gas cap but it’s pretty tight will need a big channel locks or oil filter wrench to Lossen it.

I had that happen to me back when I got my first SXS. I've since only purchased motorsport fuel cans that actually pour fuel and have the spouts hose clamped to the caps.
