Front Service Center

Please tell me how to remove the lid on the hood to gain access to what they call a service center.   I am a bull in a china shop and don’t want to break anything.  Thanks

You put two fingers, one on each side, under the front of the hood panel and pull forward in the same direction as the slope of the panel about 1 inch. Lift the panel once disengaged and it swivels up and back towards the windshield. Reverse the procedure for closing, drop the panel down and push back to secure it again? FYI
