Enclosed Trailer minimum height?

Planning to buy a 16x8.5 enclosed trailer. What is the minimum height to get my 2025 limited HD10 in? SxS height is 81 in or so. Wondering if it’ll clear an 82” trailer or if I need to add 6”

I have a 2019 Defender XT HD10 Cab with a 2" bracket lift and 30" Cryptid tires with the springs up to max and it clears my 82" door. If you are as tall as you say you may need to take the Defender down to a trailer dealer and try it to make sure.

my problem is with and length with fender flares and over 14' long so i go open flatbed trailer

My cargo hauler has an 82" H and an 86" wide door with the fender flares inside the trailer. My defender is about 64" wide so it fits between the fender flares and just allows me to squeeze out the door if I run the Defender in next to the right side fender. Its 18' long plus a 4' V nose so lots of room. When I pull it on a gravel road the air flows over the cab down onto the box cover, hits the V and spirals down onto the ground beside the trailer in a vortex on either side. I was unable to attach the defender picture vertically because the picture was taken in the vertical position???

mine is 7' and the door is a bit shorter. i have zbros on my xt max with 28" tires, stock roof, and it is tight getting in my door, it must be 79-81" range. I have never actually measured it. I know sometimes i scrape the top depending on the angle of the trailer. I make it through my 7' garage door with some space to spare as well. if you want to go any higher than 2-3" over stock, youll want to have extra height at 7.5'

Mine has an 86" H wall inside which provides the extra height clearance.
