Electrical Issue - Help!

So I have been dealing with the power window switches failing. I have replaced them multiple times and they keep failing. I saw some videos on YouTube showing how to clean the contact points in the switches, rather than buying new switches. I did the process exactly as described in those videos, reconnected the switches, and now I have no power to the doors or the interior dome light. 

I checked the 40 amp fuse under the front hood and it is fine. All fuses are fine. Power is getting to the bus bar in the roof. Power is also getting to the windshield wiper connector on the roof power cable, but there's no power to the doors and dome light, which are all connected to that same roof power cable. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? I must be overlooking something.

Try checking fuse F7 10 amp its supposed to feed the auxilliary and illumination.

Firstly, put the bad switch issue to rest and order a few window switches from this guy in California. The company is called OTRATTW and he makes the switches himself and they look perfectly factory.  Mine were dying after about 10 uses and now I have reliable switches that have lasted for years.  The model you want is called Contura II to match the others.  But if you tell him it’s for a Can-Am Defender, then he will already know the correct one.  Anytime I need switches for any reason I order them from this guy and I’ve had zero issues.
 

Electrical loss: I had the same problem that you had and found it to be a loose connection in the lower buss bar.  If you have a Defender Cab, then there are two buss bars: One in the roof just aft of the wiper motor system (you know about this one, it sounds) and one under the dash that is terribly hard to get to because it is behind the heater.  In my case, I found a loose nut on the ground that, after tightening, solved ALL of the issues. I hope yours is as simple as that and honestly, there is no fuse in line from the upper bus bar out to the doors and lights, so I think you might have a loose connection. Use a nut driver with an insulated handle, and simply go down the bus bar and tighten all of the nuts.  I discovered this because I was hearing a loud click anytime I actuated my “dead” snowplow lift, as there was slight arcing occurring under the dash.  I’ve installed a lot of lights on the upper bar and discovered those to be loose as well but not yet problematic.
