Built in Turn signals

What are the Turn signals built into the dash by the check engine symbol for, and how do I hook them up. You can see the arrows on each side in the picture

Maybe if you install the OEM turn signal kit they will illuminate?

Same gauge cluster as the spyder and ryker, witch both have turn signals for street legalness

The turn signals I had installed where from an authorized can-am dealer and they are not connected to these. I thought they used the OEM for this install. I guess I was wrong. Do you have a diagram or part number that I can see?
