Hey,

just picked up a new 2023 max xt HD9. bought some 30" tires for it before i even had the rig delivered and from what i can find on here they wont fit. I havent tired then yet but it seems i misunderstood a few things and probably should of got a HD10.

I searched here but seen that most people got the HD10 and have no issues, just wonder what i need to do to get 30's to fir the HD9 i have. will a 2" bracket lift work, 3" spacer lift? or do i need to spend $1000 (CAD) to get forward a-arms

I do not know on the HD 9  I have the defender limited 6x6 and 30" is as big as I can go without lots of money.

I would try the tires before spending lots on a lift or a arms

I'm in the same boat. I was thinking about putting a bracket lift and 30's on it as well. I'm curious to hear the info here too.

I put 30's on the factory rims all around this summer on my 2022 HD 10 limited with no problems at all and no lift kit. I researched and learned that if the from A arms are arched or the same as the 2023 model you will have no problem. I would try them first.

My 2019 HD10 Max cab has a factory Ground clearance of 12". I put on the S3 HD springs and run 30" tires just fine, S3 springs eat up about an 1" to 1-1/2" of suspension sag.

Model year 2023 Max XT HD9 has a GC of 11" and the HD10 Max Xt has a GC of 13".

Has anyone gone with the SuperATV BFT lift on a HD9? Superatv cannot tell me if it will fit or not. A-arms are the same but they cant confirm if the front lift bracket will mount up.

Pretty sure the frames are standardized across the models, built to be modular. Doubt there is any frame difference in a HD7 or HD9 or HD10, just differences in what's bolted on to them.

Places like SuperATV, won't commit to saying their stuff works on a model they didn't test it on due to liability reasons.
