2021 Defender Max Limited Dash cutout

I just bought a new 2021 Defender Max Limited.

Does anyone know what this cutout is for?  I was thinking about a second 12V socket running off the auxiliary battery?  Is that a bad idea?

I used it for a round USB power port with voltage meter (same size as the 12v outlet). So go for it!

Thanks for the input.  I had not seen USB with a voltmeter before.

My model has 2 USB-A ports in the box above the steering wheel.  But adding USB-C would be an improvement.

I spoke my my local dealer this morning.  This cutout is for Digitally Encoded Security System D.E.S.S. Key.

That's the one I ordered. Can't remember the hole saw size I used, wanna say 1" maybe.

I used it to mount one of those round switches for some rear facing led lights.

I think it is the spot for a plow control. I have seen them in that location.
