Hi all, new to this site. I am working on a defender that was running down the rd, sputtered a few times then died? I have no spark and since i had them i replaced coil and crank sensor, still nothing, pulled side cover over flywheel and checked it, its all good. New plugs, all fuses good. Batt good. Have looked over all wires and reconnected and cleaned all connections i can find. Fuel injectors are spraying fuel.press stays right around 49-50 ish. Power to coil. Im stumped. Any ideas appreciated. I have a manual for a 2018 but not 21. Thank u all in advance.

do you have power at the plug ends of the coils?  might have some bad wires, if the coils tested properly with power to them.  if you have power to the coils but not out, you still have something wrong with the coils themselves or an ECM problem that isnt allowing it to spark at the right time with timing.

I have electric 12v to coil plug but coil is not fireing. Iv tried a coil from a running machine and i put both my coils on it and they are all 3 good coils? So something has the spark part shut down? I have ordered a scanner to see if theres any stored codes that arent showing on display? Display shows no codes. I have pulled side cover and checked flywheel and its good crank sensor is new, so im down to thinking ecm is bad?

No body on this whole forum has ever had this problem? I dont believe it?

there isnt much traffic on this forum, unfortunately.  ECM or voltage regulator could be bad.  Im not super familar but assume that it must have something that is regulating them regardless of what.  If you have voltage to it but they arent firing, it is control/module related.  might also be worth a call to a dealer to see what they may know without trying to bring it in.

i doubt you'll have any stored codes, unless it has previously had the check engine light on and went off. it would store them then, pretty sure a pv3 would read them if they are stored, again, i have a pv3 but have never had any codes to need to read them.

online- dynojet directly or if you want tunes to go with it, you can get it from a few tuners.  Aftermarket assassins is where i got mine from along with a 91 octane tune for my hd10.
