2018 XMR gearbox dipstick

I have a 2018 defender xmr. I'm changing the gearbox oil and I put the 1.5 liters in like the manual says. I go to check the dipstick and I notice my hash marks are way up on the dipstick. With the 1.5 liters in its not even close to the hash marks. I was hoping one of you guys have some knowledge on this. I'm i looking at this wrong or is the dipstick wrong.

Just to add to this i called a local dealer and talked the the service guy. He said fill it to the marks. So that's what I did. Took 2.5 quarts.
