What 30” tires are you running? Some are tremendously heavy. I added the same setup in the hd10 with 30” carnivores and mine will literally break ground from a dead stop to full throttle. Absolutely improved my performance. I would think the hd8 is just less hp and just not going to be that much...

Garmin makes a rugged gps version believe referred to as Tread. No experience with them however. I’ve run an iPad, for several years, housed in a somewhat weatherproof case. Good to go as long as I don’t sink in water. Rain and splashing from rinsing off hasn’t bothered it yet. 

Outstanding results. Made the trip to Lake City, Co, with the system performing flawlessly. Kept a compact shovel and axe rock steady and in place. System still will not let me attach photo.

Ordered a metal roof from Thumper Fab. Pick it up Friday at their facility in Marshall, Texas. 

My OEM took flight during my return from a Colorado road trip. Finding several metal version but would like some info if available from here. Not looking for any speaker versions. Thanks
