I have an HD8 thats doing the same thing. All new parts, still shorting the volt regulator out. Not sure of the cause yet

I seen a post a few years ago about upgrading to an Interstate battery without any mods required. Can someone please share the link to the post, or tell me what Interstate battery. I have tried the search with no luck.

Any update on the new shocks?

Sorry, I can’t help with your question, I was wondering about your Elka shocks.  How much smoother did it improve your ride?  We just came back from HMT trails in WV, it was horribly rough!  I either need shocks to make it ride smooth, or buy a sport machine

Anyone run 32’s on an HD9 cab?  I have S3 springs, and 30’s now. Looks like just enough clearance. I am worried about the power.

Is it mainly shutting off at idle and or when you come to a stop? If so, could be water in the fuel. Mine is doing the same thing.
