if you have a winch with the solenoid under the front hood, you can hook up the + and - up there and run your pig tail out the front grill.  works well, mine has been like that for years now. steve

i dont think they will be worse than the stockers, just having the adjustable preload on them will be better than the cranks.  if that is what fits your price range, then they will be good for you.  zbros is also a good option, happy with mine vs my stock xt shocks. steve

check for any screws outside to take off, then start pulling gently to see if it will come off like a car door.  youtube might have a good video as well on how to take them off.  I dont have a limited so i am not sure how to do it. steve

you could also get upper half doors for the oem lower half doors.  they are aftermarket but look like nice pieces.  I have debated on them a couple of times when riding in the colder months. steve

QS3 is also on the x3 and some of the other sxs. nice shocks, esp for the quick adjustment and not much guesswork with them. i went with zbros and they are also very nice.  well worth the money on them, i tried doing the s3 springs first and that was a waste of money for what i wanted.   steve

there isnt much traffic on this forum, unfortunately.  ECM or voltage regulator could be bad.  Im not super familar but assume that it must have something that is regulating them regardless of what.  If you have voltage to it but they arent firing, it is control/module related.  might also be...

do you have power at the plug ends of the coils?  might have some bad wires, if the coils tested properly with power to them.  if you have power to the coils but not out, you still have something wrong with the coils themselves or an ECM problem that isnt allowing it to spark at the right time...

did you check the connections at the gauge again?  if its not seated all the way, it may not work.   steve

id probably buy all of them and see.  its a $6 bushing from can am along with some other stuff.  id get 270, 280, 388, and see what happens but i det you still dont get the right stud.  that parts fiche is terrible for that area. the 708300737 looks like it is in fact a bushing of some sort...
