Replacing steel winch with synthetic rope

    Yep, replaced mine and a quite a few others with a synthetic rope. Use a 3/16” x 50’ rope for 3500 lb winches and a 1/4” x 50’ rope for 4500, 5000, and 6000 lb.

Whining noise from engine even after turning it off

When you turn the key off there can be a whining sound from the cpu while it is shutting down. When you check it again, stay in it and watch the gauge, if the sound stops when the gauge powers down this is the case and is normal.

Defender with SuperATV offset A arms

I took the measurement at the tightest or closest point, the Defender with the offset A arms also has a spring/shock upgrade so it show a little more clearance, with the stock spring/shock the offset A arm provides 2"+ of additional tire clearance.

    2022 Max Lonestar Cab Tires/suspension

Nope, up to 30's are fine using stock A arms w/o any lift, but 32's will rub when turning. We had a shop 2021 Defender Pro Limited stock setup with 32's and had to go down to 30's because we were wearing through the plastic inner fender.

Defender with SuperATV offset A arms

I've installed a few of these now, we also had a stock Defender in so in case anyone is curious I decided to take pictures with measurements to show the difference between them and the stock A arms using stock tires and wheels. The picture shows a jack but the full weight of the Defender is on...

    Street tires

Personally I wouldn’t mount 30x10x14 tires on the stock rims, the front rims are narrower (for the stock 9” wide tire) and the rear rims are wider (for the stock 11” wide tire) being the 30’s are 10” wide there’s an inch difference in both front and rear rims.  Not saying they won’t mount up to...

    Street tires

Probably that and/or they may not fit the stock wheels, the stock wheels are different width front and back, I mounted my 30’s on raceline wheels

    Street tires

I’m not 100% sure, I don’t have fender flares on mine and any of the defenders I’ve installed fender flares on have had stock tires.  If the fender flare doesn’t extend past the stock wheel well then I would guess they shouldn’t interfere with the tires, but I don’t want to give any miss...

    Street tires

No, I have 30’s with no lift and there’s plenty of clearance
